This in me in my tower, known as Alpha-15.  Photo was taken after shift was over and we were waiting for pickup.

Items on the table

1. Map with 10 overlays, updated nightly.

2. On edge of the map next to me is a US Army Compass to give degrees and Azimuths.

3. On it's side next to the map is a Starlight Scope (rifle size)

4. Two very special sets of binoculars.  The smaller pair was actually more powerful that the larger one.

5. Special 5 channel radio so I could talk to Central Security Control, Joint Defense Operations Center (JDOC), counter mortar radar and the Base Tower to ask for "Spooky" AC-47's for flare drops or fire.

6. Not seen, is a special telephone and a crew served starlite scope (Large on a tripod).

7. Bamboo curtains behind me on the left and right.  They were added after the Dec 4-5, 1966 Attack On Tan Son Nhut.  This was due to the US Army setting up lights around their ammo area to my right.  The lights would "Blind" the starlite scopes - too bright!
